On release, our Dry Pinot Noir shows a rose gold colour and floral aromas with scents of rose petals and violets on the palate. It is light-bodied with rich fruit sensations balanced by a natural acidity.
Review
Aroma: 16/20
While red berries are prevalent on the nose, this is enriched with delicate floral notes.
Appearance: 8/10
A medium pink marble-coloured rose that is both clear and bright.
Flavour: 35/40
Strawberry and raspberry sweetness is given an acidic balance unseen in previous vintages. The acidity does, however, wash across the subtlety of the rose and lavender notes.
Mouthfeel: 9/10
This Rosé has a surprisingly crisp, dry and refreshing mouthfeel.
Overall Impression: 16/20
This is a solid day drinking wine for a picnic under the sun. It is neat, and effective without being inspiring.
