In a delightful twist of fate, Kelly Clarkson, known for her spontaneous musical prowess, found herself in the midst of a serendipitous musical encounter recently in Las Vegas. The multi-talented Grammy-winning singer and talk-show host was simply going about her business when she crossed paths with a street performer, who, to her surprise, seemed oblivious to her celebrity status.

Invited by the unassuming performer to join in, Clarkson took to the microphone for an impromptu rendition of Tina Turner’s classic hit, “What’s Love Got to Do With It.” The resulting moment was nothing short of heartwarming, and Clarkson wasted no time in sharing the joyous encounter with her fans on social media.

She gives the best hugs

In a Sunday post, Clarkson recounted the magical moment, saying, “I was on my way to soundcheck for the iHeartRadio Music Festival tonight in Vegas and was tipping this incredible woman killing some Tina Turner.” She continued, “And then she asked me to sing and had no clue who I was, and then it hit her, and it made my day! She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off!” T

he accompanying video captured the street performer initially grooving along to Clarkson’s performance before the realization dawned on her that she was harmonizing with none other than the original American Idol winner. In a candid expression of disbelief, the performer exclaimed, “Are you f—ing kidding me?” as the recognition sank in.

Later, during an interview at the festival, Clarkson elaborated on the encounter, revealing that she was drawn to the street performer’s spot-on Tina Turner rendition as she strolled by. “I was like, ‘Oh, we gotta dip into the pocket for that,'” Clarkson recalled. “So I got my wallet out, and I was gonna just go tip her, and then she was like, ‘Sing with me, baby.’ I was like, ‘Alright,’ and then I started singing, and then she literally went, ‘Are you Kelly Clarkson?’ And I was like, ‘Yes, but I didn’t want to be a tool about it.'”
